St. Michael will be utilizing the new state-of-the-art tool, Symbolon, in the RCIA program beginning this new session.  Classes are underway, but you are welcome to join at any time.

Whether you are a life-long Catholic, have fallen away from the Church, have a desire to more deeply embrace your faith, or are exploring the idea of joining the Church, Symbolon will help you more fully understand and appreciate your Catholic faith.

RCIAThe Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) is the formal adult educational process within the Catholic Church.  The purpose of Religious Education is to instill in people of all ages a knowledge and love of God. Religious education provides us an opportunity to learn more about our Catholic identity and come to a personal understanding of who Jesus is in our lives. Religious learning and growth is a lifetime endeavor. Each of us is on a spiritual journey that begins when we are very young and continues throughout our lives.

RCIA is intended for the non-baptized to the practicing Catholic and anywhere in between.  Classes are scheduled once a week from late August to Pentacost, with full initiation into the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass for those that desire membership.  It is an excellent opportunity for practicing Catholics to refresh their knowledge of the Catholic faith.

Active members of the parish participate as teachers and guides through this journey in addition to our pastor.
