Acolytes assist the priest in the celebration of the liturgy during Mass by performing specific actions at the altar as well as preparation before and duties after the Mass. Acolytes are trained through the Diocesan Training Program and are installed by the Bishop of the Diocese.
Altar Servers are young men that assist the priest during Mass. They attend to supporting tasks at the altar, as well as, preparation before and duties after Mass.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion bring Holy Communion to those members of the parish who are homebound and to Catholics in designated nursing homes within the parish boundaries.
Lectors or Readers assist the clergy by proclaiming the Scripture passages during each Mass, as well as, perform the Mass introduction duties and perform before and after Mass duties.
Hospitality Ministers establish a welcoming environment for parishioners and visitors.
Rosary leaders lead the Rosary before each Sunday Mass.
